I offer a series of highly personal drawing and painting workshops for beginners in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians. The workshops are held outdoors; either one to one or small groups. We will concentrate on landscape, harbours and seascapes.  In my workshop you will be working with water mixable oils, charcoal and graphite. You will learn how to distinguish tonal values in a composition, capturing light shade and colour which will result in a painting or drawing that’s in your own unique style. You will receive practical instruction and be encouraged to explore your creativity; working towards completing a piece of art that you will be proud to show off.

All your necessary core materials will be provided. Weather permitting, our day will begin at 10am and stop at around 4pm. Workshops are flexible and can be for one day or up to a week. My daily charge is £400 for a group with no more than five people. Single person is £95.
